John Burnett is  a consultant in our Corporate Team.  He joined Stephens Scown in 2005, after standing down as Liberal Democrat MP for West Devon & Torridge. While sitting as an MP John played a vital role in the formulation of the Finance Bill and was for many years the Liberal Democrat spokesperson for finance. John's insights and experience are proving invaluable to the firm and its clients. 

On 31 May 2006, John became The Right Hon Lord Burnett of Whitchurch.
